Victoria Hospice, since 1980,
… has provided end-of-life care focused on palliative treatment. Hospice nurses, counsellors, spiritual caregivers, physicians and trained volunteers provide comfort for patients and support for their families, rather than a cure for progressive and life-limiting illness.
Victoria Hospice helps people find a way through the overwhelming emotions and practical realities of coping with a life-limiting illness … to reach a level of acceptance that allows them and their loved ones to make the most of whatever time remains.
Anita Larsen of Victoria Hospice accepts a donation of $4000 from the Jaguar Car Club of Victoria, April 2021. Presenting the donation on behalf of the club is President Paul Seguna. The presentation took place at the Turkey Head location of the Salish Sea sculpture by Coast Salish artist Chris Paul as part of the Oak Bay public art program and serves as a memorial to the late Russell Ney.
